Parachute delay?

When I tap my parachute button it doesn't seem to always come out. Do you have to hold the button down for a bit?

The delay is caused by server lag, notice if you parachute on single player it opens instantly and there is not choppy-ness what so ever, you will know exactly what I'm talking about if you try it on singleplayer .

u have to wait till the gun is tucked away, then hit the button!

you see what i do is i hit the fu%# out of the 9 key, works every time

It needs time to get ready so it s about 0.5 sec after your jump so press it then

Or you could tap it just before you hit the ground, looks cool as hell to other plays and you're harder to hit by the oposition...
