when i go on ranked server it says....only people with unmodified game can play. even when i go on a normal server it says that :cry:

any ideas anyone? :hmm:

I solve software problems for a living and I have seen software malfunction from incorrect
regional settings and game version installs. I am assuming that everything else seems to be running correctly i.e. not loaded up with viruses and spyware.

i have the 1.02 patch on my comp but havent installed it yet.

In Control Panel ( make sure control panel is in classic mode ) Regional Settings make sure those match the country your in. Also are you using a ***** crack?

Look at My Documents\Battlefield 2\Dmp\patchlog.txt

Look for files that DIDN'T patch. I had this happen to me earlier today. It still said it patched, but the majority of the files didn't. Also, download pbweb.exe from PunkBuster & manually update your punkbuster files with this.
