g36 or the L85a1??

i just got to corpral and im wondering if i should get the g36 or the L85a1 cuz i heard some ups and downs with the L8 but all good things from the g36 but i aslo like to play medic alot so if any can tell me good advice to wat gun to get let me know plz.. thankz :salute:

Well it depends. g36 is the better gun. But if you like to play medic an l85 will help you. I dunno.

o thankz that helps alot.. lol jk im just not sure if i get the g3a6 im going to use it alot
but if i get the L85a1 im going to use it alot but i heard bad things about it.. and i already like the m16 and the ak-101 i like those better so

the g36c is the better gun at close range and the l85 is better at long range on semi auto so its up to you i have both and love them so wont be disappointed

well it depends on the shooter thats what i think the g36 is good at long range but i think the l8 is a little bit better cuz the scope

G36 is a million times better than L8 at long and short range. Although it is weak, it is the most accurate gun in the game.

The majority of the fighting that I do as a medic is close-up, usually when I run in to revive a teammate and an enemy walks around the corner or something. In a situation like this, an L85 is going to give you trouble. It's a good long range weapon though, but you'll be far away from teammates who need reviving.

Get the G36.

I have both the L8 and the G36C unlocked. I play with the G36C a great deal and find it very good. I play with the L8 hardly ever, i play medic quite a lot aswell but i prefer to use the M16 and the AK both are excellent weapons when u get used to them.

In summary, I recommend the G36C. If you play medic a lot then i suggest becoming more a customed with the M16 and AK (AK took me a bit longer to get the hang of)

Obviously if you take my advice and regret it, feel free to send me hate mail/death threats etc :p

yeah...... not really. i have had the L85A1 since about 1.3 months ago and i love it. i am now a corporal and i have the L8A51 and the PKM both are good weapons. BUT...BUT it all depends on the user. i can drop people close and far with my L8A51 with 2-5 shots. and i can hit them with every shot. because i dont shoot auto. and i am always a medic. so yeah. take either opinion you want but the L8A51 is THE best gun in teh game to me.

i just unlocked the L8. Although i have no comparison with the G36, considering how accurate i am (which i really suck), the L8 has drastically improved my shooting skills. Both far and near. Just my 2 cents. But im only lance corporal, what do i know? =)

I have both and I love them.

g36c is the upgrade verison of m4, more accurate , but weaker.
L85a1 is like the m4 to me, it is quite accruate and abit stronger than g36.

Nah, the G36C does the same amount of damage as the M4, but it has a ton less recoil. The L85A1 has a nice scope for sniping, but by sniping you're negating the job of a medic, instead of healing and reviving in the heat of battle, you're picking off guys. And the recoil makes it suck at close range, IMO the G36C is the better overall weapon.
