Why does the server switch your team in the middle of a round?

You do a lot of work for one team (kills/heals/revives/flag captures) then in the middle to the end of a round it switches you to the other team and it seems like all the work you've done is somewhat lost. They usually do it when there is one "enemy" base left and when you spawn at that ONLY base, the team that you were originally on is hot on your ass. Not to mention when the round ends, you get a "loss". Thanks.

The thing i hate about server swaps is that when i die i it is nearly finished the cool down for the respawn and in the last second a person disconects and it swaps u to there team then i normaly yell out **** on the everybody chat and work my hardest trying to get back, it should also swap people that ARNT in a squad what if u r in a really good one and u get swaped, u wont be able to get back in for a while.

I don't know if it's random or not but I was first on an almost full 64 man server, and I got swapped. WTF? Why not switch the lone-wolfs first?

If you get swapped, you still keep your points. And most likely they swap you to the losing team at that moment so you will still be first. It just bugs me when i get a "loss". But im only lance corporal. What do i know? =)

I just got swapped again. This time in the beginning of the round.

As much as I hate getting swapped, it's better than being on a server where teams are 30 to 1.

you do lose points for team switching weather it's forced or not and if you try to switch back and fail you still lose 2 points each time you do it

I wonder if commanders ever get auto switched? How messed up would that be?

if you switch teams you lose points? wow didn't know that...


i do hate when the teams are even and as soon as your team starts losing people start migrating to the other team...although personally i get a much bigger thrill when you win even though its 25 vs 35...

Well, in at least a few of the dozens of posts on this subject, I have seen people rant about being switched while commanding. It truly boggles the mind why DICE figured it was okay to switch commanders, squad leaders, or even squad members in a "team oriented" FPS.

Surely, this is one of the "140 fixes" promised us in the 1.03 patch: start with lone wolfs and then work up.

this happens to me quite often, usually at least once a day if i having a big session, easiest thing to do is not respawn, wait till the team u was on loses a player and swap back!! saves u losing points by trying to swap back teams!!
