    Mp5 > Dao-12

ok for starters i play anti tank alot.. 40 plus hours with the kit might b 50 dunno, so don't go off saying i don't no what im talking about b/c i do have a slight clue:p

i've tried the DAO-12 and really... im not happy with it, sure its powerful but its really not my playing style, i dont' really like shottys, but ok i agree it owns at close range, but its just not for me, 70% of my kills r made with the mp5 at a range that the dao-12 is just useless,

DAO-12 great at close range... well.. i thought so too but today i saw this guy and he saw me i got prone hid behind a wall, he clearly knew where i was it didn't' trick him or anything, i waited with my mp5 he came around the bend and i know for a fact he got the 1st shot off but i still dropped him with my mp5!

ok i have very low health but... im alive hes not, anywayz your 1st comments gona be "he wasn't' at full health" well he was.. im almost sure b/c i saw him spawn in thats when this all started, so my thinking is mp5 when prone > dao-12,
that's what the poll above is about who agrees with me that the mp5 is actually better all around than the dao-12?

honestly the mp5 seems very week... but ive used it long enough that i can drop a lot of people with it, it is possible to kill 2 guys with 1 clip, very possible
single shot, its not to bad at accuracy, i prefer the pistol but hell its not terrible, all in all if u whine about the mp5 you just dont no how to use it correctly, its DEFINITELY not a pown gun but its very lethal if u no how to use it well

For my in-your-face, charging play-style, the DAo-12 fits my needs perfectly. It's not about which weapon is better, it's about which weapon is better according to your play-style

Overall I'll take the MP5 but in face to face fighting I'll take the DAO any day.

MP5 has more potential in most maps, but in urban maps, DAO please

Too bad the round will be over by the time you finish reloading

What i do is if i cant hit them with my Dao-12 then i just pull out my pistol and pump shots into them the pistol is ok accurate.

The two guns require a completely different play style. I agree that if you treat it right, you can do damage with the MP5, but it's still inferior to all the other rifles you're going up against. With the DAO, cover is your friend, and you let the enemy rush you before dispatching them. I was in a position yesterday where a Squad leader was prone behind a rise letting his Squad spawn on him, while my Squad, defending a flag, was supressing them and as they all stayed prone behind that rise, I rushed with the DAO, surprising them, and took out their leader and 3 others before my clip ran out. I don't think I could have done that with the MP5.

The MP5 in my opinion runs out of ammo to quicly but i might be going nuts. i always find myself out of ammo in the middle of a battle and i always reload after a fight.

DAO can be fun for laying down some close range supressing fire but sometimes the spray patterns of the shots really ****s me, cause you can be at close range but most of the buck will miss. I don't really like taking either of them into a fight, i like to make my rockets do the talking.

Well, the SMGs are mediocre at a distance, and below average at groin-kicking range, whereas the DAO-12 kicks butt close up and is totally useless at long range. The DAO does not need to be fully reloaded, but when you do, it takes a long time. I suppose I barely prefer the semi-versatility of the SMGs. I will probably end up unlocking it at some point, but I doubt it will be my next choice. If the gold plated version were available, I would have to get that just for style.

I prefer the DAO, I'm not very accurate with the handheld autos in the game. It suits the way I play alot better, and the spread on it makes up for my lack of pinpoint accuracy as infantry.

The MP5 is very week (like throwing rocks), the dao sends alot out and useless past 20 feet, but the key is to continually reload even after 3 shells. But the rockets are like threading a needle, i love 'em!
