I've got a great idea for a plot:

Arab soldiers under the newly formed MEC have destroyed a Starbucks inside Riyahd. In response to this outrageous act, the U.S. has sent in Marines to round up those responsible.

Then, things start going wrong.
Pvt. Murphy got killed when his legs stuck out the side of a solid crate and his femural arteries got torn up.
SSgt. Jones and PFC Newsome bit it when 2nd Lt. Osbourne accidentally called in an airstrike on their position.
Osbourne died in a firefight with an MEC soldier. Osbourne shot the soldier 11 times in the chest with his trusty M4, but the MEC soldier got off one clean shot with his AK-101.
Then there's Cpl. Dawson. Dawson was the best sniper in Force Recon, but after several near-fatal shots to MEC infantry with his Remington M24, he was finally struck down by an MEC pistol sniper. It's said that Dawson will receive numerous posthumous awards for his damage assists, though.
PFC Taggart was looking to be the hero of the story, as he single-handedly drove an M1 Abrams into the town, and switched between loader, driver, spotter, and tank commander in an unbelievably efficient manner. Taggart had over 15 kills before his Abrams was abruptly halted by a thin metal pole, leaving him exposed to enemy fire. After taking 12 hits from Eryx rockets, the Abrams' paint job was scratched. Furious, Taggart opened the lid of the tank, stuck his head out to holler at the MEC soldiers and was killed.
Who can forget PFC Rainier? Rainier lost his way after running out of breath in 12 seconds while his convoy headed into the town. He is still listed as MIA...

PFC Rainer lol. If that was me, I probably saw a KFC out in the middle of the desert and ran out there to find out it was just a mirage so I shot myself.
