G36C or DAO-12...

I am approaching staff sergeant (45,000/50,000 pts), this will be an important unlock for me because I know i'm not going to play my way to gunnery sergeant and therefor it will be my last unlock.

Ive already got the L85, PKM, and M95.. I play Spec-ops and Anti-tank about equally. For a long time I was sure about unlocking the DAO-12 but now that Spec-ops is going to get points for hacking enemy assets next patch, i'm thinking about the G36C.

Help please!!!

Id go for the G36C. What ive used of it, I love. Ive made a new account and stopped using my lance corp 6000 point account,(I know its low, I dont play much) just so i can get to 1000 points faster on this one and unlock the G36C, as I unlocked the L85A1 on my better account, and am quite dissapointed.

depends if u do in 2 the fite alot get and get in 2 melee fights go dao but if u stay back from a distance get g36c

The DAO-12 is the best gun i nany game I've played IMHO (Except the gravity gun :laugh: ). You have to like the pistol to use it though, because long range it's not your best gun.

The DAO is definetly the biggest improvement of the stock anti-tank weapons. So if your looking for an improvement go for that. The G36C is better than the original, but not as a drastic improvement like the DAO.

I used to play all of the classes before my DAO unlock, now I just go Anti-Tank if that means anything.

I used my 3rd unlock on the g36 and I love it. Very nice, super accurate in single shot I snipe the snipers :)

G36C > DAO in long range
DAO < G36C in short range (most of the time, sometimes G36C will beat the DAO)

With all things said an done, DAO is crap long range, so G36C it is.

AT is already good enough with the rocket launcher. Why need another close range weapon when you can shove a rocket up his ass?

Any situation in which the DAO-12 would be useful is matched by virtually any rifle/SMG/shotgun. i.e. If you're close enough to make good use of the DAO-12, any weapon with a decent ROF will get the job done. On the other hand, the G36 is noticably better than the stock carbines at range. Go prone, single shot, iron sight, you can rack up a lot of decent kills. Low damage though.
