I'm not quite sure that "Organised" and "Forumplanet" belong on the same page...

Damn if only u copy and pasted it into here. My pc gets upset if i go anywhere near forumplanet.

The only plus side to it is those wonderfully enticing sponsored links and all the mature, helpful and well rounded individuals that post there. :|:

According to my poll, most of you are like me: You wish gameplay on public servers were more organized. You wish players were tightly organized in squads, staying together and working as a unit instead of being spread out all over the map. You wish commanders would take control of their teams, give orders, spot enemies and so on instead of flying around. And likewise, when commanding, you wish squads would follow orders, that you could count on them to obey your commands. If you've played clanwars, tournaments or on the tacticalgamer.com servers you know what type of gameplay I'm talking about.

And yet, you are stuck with the same old same old low-quality chaotic play of the dreaded "public servers". Flying commanders. Teamkill punishers. Stat-padders. Smacktards. Chat spammers. Teammates stealing the tank you just fixed. Plane campers. Players ignoring your request for a ride, flying off alone in the transport chopper. Newbies practicing online, smashing your full Blackhawk upside down against a tree. I don't think I need to go on - you know public server gameplay. Know it and hate it and wish it could be different.
It wasn't as bad in the days of Quake Fortress. People played competitively, but at least they weren't so hostile.

I find myself disconnecting from BF2 out of frustration, extreme anger at TK'ing, non-teamplay, whoring smacktalking retards than any other reason. I come to play for fun, not get ****ed off and have an artery rupture.

It's the new player attitude. They don't give a crap about anyone but themselves, and clans become gangs of smack-talking hoodlums ( see last 3-4 posts for an example of stated attitude ^^)rather than an example of good sportsmanship should be like.

Online gaming is increasingly becoming a negative experience, it won't be long since I drop it altogether. It's back to what made me happy in the first place - good single-player games like Quake, Half-Life 1 & 2, Duke Nukem 3D, etc.

Times have changed in online gaming, and not for the better. Good luck finding the respectful players, they are few and far between, and starting to leave the community altogether.

What is BF2 without respectful, sportsmanlike players? Nothing.

I think you have to take into consideration where the mass's of BF2 players come from. BF2 is currently the biggest Online FPS title to have been released recently. Now i know a lot of the Ravenshield community plays BF2 and they were a good bunch on the whole and had a great tight knit community.

I guess theres a lot of America's Army which im guessing from wht i've heard had quite a mature and well behaved grp of followers.

I mean theres such a wide variety of games people would have come from and now started playing BF2.

However there is one community and i know its probably been said to death and its a pretty widely used stereotype, but that is the Counterstrike community would have undoubtedly had a lot of its members start to play BF2

I don't know why this is and i wouldnt like to speculate but that community is full of these people who really mess up a good game of BF2, from the TKers to the stat paddlers.

I hold some hope that only those playing Source migrated to BF2 and those people playing the not so hardware reliant CS 1.6 stay a little longer in thier h4x0r r0x0r little world

Word. Why bother posting if you have nothing to add but scornful remarks? Assholes.

What you need is carefully moderated teamplay servers.

But then again, everyone THINKS that they're a team player and not a complete ******* on the field.
