Something really odd...

I created another account for BF2 today, to go around having fun on a newbi account.

One odd thing I noticed was control in air vehicles, namely choppers. My main account is a corporal and when I fly I notice its a very smooth steady flight. I hop onto the same server with my private ranked account and I notice this unbearable swaying left and right. In both cases I had a gunner, ping was relatively the same (in the 30's), and FPS was constant, and no packet loss.


I'm not sure if this is fair to conclude, but its based on qualitative observation: Rank possibly allows for easier control of vehicles like the attack choppers?

yeah thats wht i DP, coz ur new character will have reset controls. Try using the same .con file for ur new account as u have for ur old oen and see if u still get the odd thing happening

Maybe there is a mysterious "experiance" that you get when flying that builds on your account, OR just different controls like everyone is saying.

you made some slight adjustments to the controls for your original account, and simply forgot to make those same adjustments to the new account!

Nope they are the same controls. I copied and renamed my control file. I dunno what it is.

maybe it was the server you were in

i got into a SH60 the other day and it was uncontrolable for me there was no reason for it but it's never happened since so i figured it's just a glitch in the game or bug who knows

Ok since it wasn't clear.

- Same Server
- Same configurations
- Almost the same ping (within the ping range of 30)
- Gunner both times.
- USMC Helicopter both times
- FPS around 50 - 60 each time.
- No Packetloss
- No Connectivity issues.
