A crazy idea

Wanna discuss this? I was wondering what could be the next stage of a game like BF2 and I had this crazy idea that there could be a tool where we could actually attach our characteristics (with a photo) to our soldier.
Just like football games which shows a famous players face.
Any opinions are welcome...

yeah, thats a good idea, but think of the strain it would put on servers - to simultaneously render 64 different unique faces at once would be hard, i think.

Why would I want to put my face, let alone, kill a soldier with pimply 14-year-old's face on it?

If you want custom faces on the soldiers, make a mod and reskin the faces to you delight.

Custom skins have always been fun. Though I seriously wouldn't put my face on the soldier. It'd be a possum. Or maybe ******. Edit: Oh wow. I didn't know that was censored.

THUG 2, you can scan your photo on your own caracter head, + you can change your pands and stuff..

or you are thinking about something els?

Didnt soldner have this type of thing???
For the work it would take to implement, its probably not worthwhile imo...how many times do you take a second to look at facial features b4 firing anyway??

Wow, you're very enthusiastic aren't you?

I think custom faces for your soldier would be awesome... especially being able to put your OWN face onto the soldier.

I remember you could do a little hack like that for GTA3 as well (PC Gamer had an article telling how) and you could be running around with YOUR face on the main character... all while doing dirty deeds and running from the cops. :laugh:

I dont think that you are going to let someone kill you in game because his soldier's face is a 14 year old boy. After all most players here are over 18 i think. Check out what i mean.
