Anyones game crash?

Ok, so, sometimes my game crashes and/or it restarts the whole computer.:cry: this is only when im playing battlefield 2, or doom 3 *i dont play doom3 anymore* ANYWAYS, i got some advice from my friend and he said to system restore it to the first day, and i did, and it still crashes. then i heard from somoene else that it could be my ram or something... so if anyone could tell me whats up that would be awesome!!

AMD Athlon(tm)
XP 3000+
2.16 GHz
512 MB of RAM

welcome to BF2, in this forum there are dozens of people who have the same problem as you (including me).. so far its known that if you play on a Punkbuster server, it causes these random crashes, two proofed ways to fix it are:
1. if you have a iomega drive (anything from iomega), install new driver or delte the driver files
2. dont play on PB Servers

What are your temperatures like?

Check all of your fans...CPU, chipset, PSU, GPU, chassis, etc

If you're overclocking ANYTHING...don't...reset all to their default values.

as far as an iomega drive, i dont know what the hell that is, and if you could tell me how to delete the driver files that would be cool. and for PB servers, well, how many ranked servers dont have PB. and last for my temperatures, all my fans are working, but its pretty damn hot over here so that could just be the problem to when my computer resets.
