Re: Dont see this in bf2

whenever I run a squad I give all kinds of compliments and encouragement

especially for guys that don't got headsets I feel its my duty to encourage them the most cuz they probably feel a little left out not having a mic and all so whenever they spawn on me I'll say "alright dude go kill these ****ing hadjis" and off they run into the distance...to die haha

it's funny whenever you see them really trying to follow my commands, one second they'll be playing like ******* taking pot shots and hiding and I'll stand over them get on the mic and start demanding they get the **** up and kill somebody and you see them start sprinting towards the enemy shooting like a bunch of wild mother ****ers

everytime my squad captures a flag or kills a tank/heli big compliments are always given too! it motivates them again to use the same effort they just gave once we start going for the next flag

also it helps a bit I think to make fun of the deaths your squad takes, like if I'm driving a full vodnik to a flag and we get owned by a tank shell out of nowhere...I don't start cussing and getting all huffy, I'll just be like "ah **** we got served!" "**** me in the goat a$$!" or I'll make fun of the guy who killed us by calling him a dirty mexican

I compliment other players if they pull anything off thats well excecuted. Especially those 2 and 3 man teams that use smoke and tactics to swarm a position while greatly outnumbered.

I often give a NS to the countersniper that manages to find me with a headshot =)

Would be nice if it was a spoken command, I was in a tank with someone and took down a moving attack chopper. And was pleased with myself.

It would be cool to hear a " Nice shot Sir! "

I am like Amtrak always tell the counter sniper good shot if they happen to get me with the headshot or something I wasn't expecting

Check your comp cause somethings wrong, most people come through loud and clear on my game. SOmetimes if someone has their settings messed up they may not be loud enough but its usually clearer than most cell phone calls. :hmm:

Last night this guy and I were on the same squad for over an hour till I had to go get something to eat. We used voice comm pretty well, exchanging warnings, tactics and commentary. I was a little amused by his Canadian accent ("Take cover, a tank's aboot to come around that corner"; "Let's grab that jeep, eh?"), and he was pretty good about complimenting nice shots. It was pretty good. I put him in my BF2Autoloader Buddies List, so hopefully we'll be able to hook up again.

It's always nice to have appreciative squadmates giving encouragement; it makes the game just that much more enjoyable

He thought it was odd that I could tell he was a canuck by his voice. After I asked "Let me guess: you're Canadian, right?" he replied "Is it that obvious?" I replied "Dude, I'm from Texas ... yes it's pretty obvious."

Re: Dont see this in bf2

When I have a good gunner (in an attack chopper), I like to give compliments when he does something neat.

Like, he gets enemy attack chopper with TV missile. I type: "Niiiiiceeeee"

And I get ejected from the chopper, since my sentence ended up with 'e'. And chopper crashes with gunner inside.

Happened quite few times. Now I try to end every sentence with '!'.

The best is when I (as a gunner) type "Nice" and get ejected. Then I tell to pilot to pick me up, since I got ejected. And he says "I come". Then he gets ejected too.

                    Thank you DICE :)

I always try to congratulate someone, either if they are doing well in my squad, get a nice shot, or are on the other team and have just blown my brains out from miles away.

But I hate it when they don't respond...a simple thank you would suffice!

I would like to play with you one day. You seem like a good sport. :)

Anyway, I'm in a clan so I always have a good squad. I have a member who is going into the army so we normaly let him lead. We stick in standard formation.
                        Him (support)
                        Clan member (Also suport)
                        Anti Tank
                        Me (medic)
                        assult

Works out really well if you stay in a straight line and stay close to cover. We come out with mad points

                        (And we all gat mics)

I'm always quick to praise skilled chopper pilots when I'm gunning. They make me very happy.

Out of 1000 games played out on the ground though, I've had only ONE good experience feeling some sense of teamwork. I was squad leader and these guys wouldn't go anywhere or do anything without my approval. They kept saying, "Where to Sarge?" over the microphone. Kinda made me feel like they were my team. The real question is, where was the commander during all that?

hey, thanks. I don't see the point in being an ass and ruining the game for others, or even not doing anything.

i'm usually on my clanserver anyway so I like to give a good impression, but its also nice to congratulate people...get their confidence up.

People play better when they know someone better on their team, or know what someone actaully is watching them and looking out for them.

I always use to compliment and get complimented by people in CS. But in games like BF, theres so many people playing on multiplayer on one server, its just not the same.
