Admins, lame

Why is it that some admins have to be a right pain in the arse.

OK SO THIS IS A SOB STORY YOU DONT HAVE TO READ IT IF YOU DONT WANT TO

Was on the Force 10 server tonight with some friends, was on the oilfields map. I was just in the plane flying about but not killing all that much when the admin said summot like 'ooooh planes are lame'

A few mins later he comes out with 'ok so take this as a hint coz erm.. its our server - get out the plane'

I reply to him very polietly with a msg telling him that i have absolutely no objection to him coming on my server and using a plane.

Seconds after typing this message, kicked and banned.


Has anyone else had problems with this clan or 12 year old admins in general?

It's lame yes but they can do what they like with thier own servers. It sucks but everyone has to just live with it. Unless you wanna go grab use some pitch forks :P

Yeah it sucks, and I bet that most players have had a similar experience to you, which is a shame.

Avoid clan servers in general, less probs

Yeah it sucks. The worst that happened to me was I got kicked because I was going to get a gold medal and they wanted to let one of their guild mates get the gold instead. The best thing I can suggest is do what I did, make a list of the servers this has happened to you on and never go back to them. After awhile when word gets out that the server is run by 12 year olds they will have the pleasure of having the server to themselves.:yay: I know it is a pipe dream, but I can wish can't I?

I have to say that any clan server that I have been on has always been friendly and well-policed.

Clan servers can make their own rules, but they tend to have an admin on alot more than a pub server.
