Buggy/Vehicle Bombs

I see these things running around the map and being discussed in the forums. But I have never seen one used. Do you just load up C4 and drive it into a tank / postion? Do you have to manually detonate? Does it go off if you suicide into a tank?

Yeah, search and it only blows up if it is destroyed, so if the tank shot one round and your Humvee is flaming quickly get it near the tank and jump out, it should kill the tank. So you have to manually blow it, or it has to blow up and from there the C4 will blow too.

My method:

Throw three (3) C4 things on the front bumper of a car. I find the HMMWV to be too slow for this to work well, the best bet is using one of the 3-seaters.

Make sure that your detonator is IN YOUR HAND when you enter the vehicle, so that when you bail out, you already have it and don't have to right click or hit 5 to bring it out.

Try to come up behind a tank/APC, gain speed, and when you're about 15 meters away, bail out, back pedal a little bit, and detonate. Unless the tank sees, you, then just detonate immediately and deal with the suicide.

some people will just ram and suicide as the c4 will detonate when the vehicle explodes making one hell of an explosion...when driving into the back of a tank the c4 tends to blow so hehehehe

Damage the car (where it becomes red in the status) with grenade or weapon, put C4, make a nice walk on the map and ram a loaded transport vehicle, it blows up instantly.

Sometimes engineers in other vehicles stops next of another to repair it so try to find such a case to blow up 2/3 vehicles at the same time.
