I have 2 CD drives A CD-RW (master) & a regular CD drive (slave).
When I first tried to installed BF2 I got an error & it crashed so I tried agian but the CD-RW I was installing from reported " no CD in drive " so I put the CD in the other drive & installed the game just fine.
Now if I boot my machine with a CD in the CD-RW the BIOS will NOT recognize the drive.
If I boot with NO CD in the drive BIOS will see it & load but any CD placed in the drive will NOT be seen. (my comp says no CD in the drive).
All my drivers are up to date & have tried updateing firmware for drive & removeing the drive Physically & reinstalling.
ANYBODY see this before or know how to fix.
I build my own comps & consider myself an advanced user this has got me stumped.
