All game forums are heading in this direction. I am seeing a trend here.

Well, al popular ones are, everybody is posting and there's a small debate but then after the second or third page somebody flames somebody, and then flame war breaks out. BUt more unpopular ones like how do i unlock a weapon don't get things like that becuase there is an inherently asy way to answer. When there is a direct answer there isn't much debate, when there is a debate like Ramming, or BH whoring or stuff like that expect a flame war to break out, it's not anybody's fault except the first flamer becuase he usually instead of correcting them in a simple polite manner starts to say that he's in idiot or he sux, or flame wars start insomething where there's like 50 people sayng support guns aren't good enough, and there's like 1 person that says there good enough. Look for the thread "machineguns must be patched", check out how many flame wars there are, there's nearly 300 posts, in that, the longest non sticky i've seen.

Can't have a debate without differing opinions. Character comes from how you present your arguements and how you listen to opposing views.

If you disagree, there's a good chance you've also proven my point.

i agree with rombaft's posts so far. this game has been out 2 months and i'll bet that most of those who complain have hardly played the game. every new game needs some getting used to and most of the jackasses on these forums think that if they owned with an ak/m95/whatever in sof2 or some other game, they should own in bf2 and if they keep getting their a$$es handed to them, there must be something wrong with the weapon and it needs some changes. now that shit starts getting old and it pisses off most people, including me. you don't have to be a genius to figure out that you just need practice.

then there's the good old spawn camping issue. in case the whiners haven't realized, the object of the game is to reduce the opponent's tickets and that is exactly what spawn camping does to the opforce. capturing a flag, then losing it and then recapturing it a 100 times doesn't mean shit and doesn't win games. then the whiners argue that they just play for fun. now if you're playing for fun, you shouldn't play on the ranked servers because everyone playing on the ranked servers plays to win and for stats. so if you can't handle getting your a$$ handed to you everytime you respawn just because you're too dumb to choose a different spawn point, go play on an unranked server and don't post here with your sorry a$$ sob story. i could go on, but i'm gonna stop here.

when bf2 was released, i used to visit these forums several times a day to look for any tips to improve my gameplay, but now all you see on these forums are pms'ing whiny a$$ b!tches.

Lets take Havoc's post above about the spawn camping. I hate it with a passion but look at it like this. If a Flag is capable then I have no problem with camping the spawn but if it is uncapable why rape it.

Why? To exterminate the enemy with extreme prejudice and win the match. Like was stated before, If I'm playing a ranked match they're fair game.

I'm sorry, do you like the useless circles that most of these threads end up becoming?

I only complain an issue over and over for one reason.. Im hoping
to do 2 things... stir up support for my suggestion/complaint AND
to hopefully catch the eye of someone at EA/DICE to let them know
something needs changing.

The other issues I throw myself into are for my enjoyment only.. :)

You got to admit.. whether you agree with peoples posts or not..
some of the people in the forum have the IQ of a potato.

I think I'd be considered a 'Toughie' (althought that is a pretty weird word.) What I get sick of is people saying "EA Sucks Because of This" or "We all know it's EA's fault." That's not constructive criticism, it's trying to crucify the company that published this game for no reason in particular. This leads me to start an arguement with them, citing how great this game and usually how the person complaining has about 400 hours played. I remember when people wore those sigs that said "I'm not buying the expansion until the mod tools come out." Guess what? The mod tools came out and they're coming up with new things to cite for not buying the expansion. I'm convinced that a lot of people in this community are just looking for things to complain about.. but it's also good to know that others can enjoy the game for what is is. </end rant>

I wouldnt consider releasing a highly anticipated major game title
UNFINISHED 'no reason in particular.' although apparently you would.

But youre right in the sense that no, not everything is EAs fault..
the jets the choppers, the whoring, the 'I hate this kit..' 'I hate that
kit'.. The hackers.. Its the users who participate in some of those
things faults.. and for that we can do nothing about..

But I have to say, Ive been in online gaming since the early 80s,
when CGA 4 color monitors werent even out yet, and in all this time,
and all the hundreds of games I have purchased, this one has been
the most unsupported, and in my opinion, the most incomplete.
