Playing tactically, me and a few buddies in MACE were using the Black Hawk to its proper use to capture flags.
We didn't fly so close to the ground and use magic to winch the flag down and back up again, no.
I would drop them off, either by parachute, or low exit from the black hawk. (if the BH had ropes in game, we would be using them, but we have to make do with what we have.)
I would then fly off and give support from the skies, informing my team of incoming enemies while they secured the area. Then they would pull back to an open area and I would swoop down and exfiltrate them from the area, and move on, healing them as we go.
It is an impressive tactic, very fulfilling as squad leader in the chopper and for the rest on the ground as they capture the flag. Its much easier and tactically sound than 'BH whoring' the flags, and in my opinion, much more gentlemanly.
The same also applies for a quick assault on the enemy commander assets, disabling the Arty, UAV and radar of the enemy quickly and easily. with organisation we can be in and out in less than a minute.
Also, i like landing on the ground and extracting my teammates...i don't know why its just exciting and like its out of a movie!
