I like to play as commander, and since I have been playing I see that the commander kills with artillery usually show yellow.
But I've noticed sometimes some artillery kills showing up blue (friendly commander) or red (enemy commander)
Like this:
usmccomander [Artillery] oneplayer
usmccomander [Artillery] twoplayer
usmccomander [Artillery] threeplayer
usmccomander [Artillery] fourplayer
instead of showing yellow...
Then I figured that these guys were acually scoring for their kills with the artillery, and we all know that artillery kills and any other commander kills don't count, which IMO is a big mistake from EA, should reward good commanders with commander points for killing with artillery.
Well, then I figured these guys called the artillery strikes and resign from commander post, let artillery drop, get the kills, and apply again as commander.
I figured this 2 days ago, and I have done it a few times and never saw anyone complaining. But today I was USMC commander at a match in Mashtuur City and a player <Wkl>Anubis (ironically he was my mentor, thats how I figured how it was done), he said I was exploiting.
SO, I never saw anyone saying this was exploit, IF IT IS thank god I just used a few times, but I remember this player doing it A LOT of times at Strike at Karkand 24/7 64 player server from the *=SAS=* clan, the server is not online anymore unfortunately, but we still get good Karkand servers (my favorite)
For the matter of the doubt I won't do this again but I wanted the opinion if its an exploit, because I have seen many players doing the same thing, getting artillery kills to count.
IMO, EA should change the commander score system, so the artillery kills should count as 1 commander point or 1 teamwork point. Commanders dont get so well rewarded.
My 2 cents
