Need help with flying helis

I'm finding it very hard to stop and hover the heli right above where I want to (like a flag. How do I do that perfectly without landing and pissing off my passengers. Also, how the hell do you aim the rockets on the attack choppers without flying into the ground

Aim the copter up and add collective to slow down forward momentum, level out and make minor adjustments and decrease collective watching your altimeter try to keep it at about 15-20.

Attack copters - you have to rise up and dive down over your target. They are much more manuveurable, but also tend to sink down much quicker than the transport copters.

Practice in SPM or empty servers hitting stationary objects.

I've heard increasing your mouse response helps as well.
