ANOTHER punkbuster issue...

i had trouble joining the ranked servers - downloaded the 1.02 patch...

i NOW have trouble with staying in ANY PB SERVER.... it kicks me and tells me that i have no packet flow..... anybody else having this problem? help would be greatly appreciated.

yo homie, the main problem is that when u use internet u receive constant packets from your modem if their is a problem with that punkbuster is gonna kick u out for sure. make sure that everything is up to date.

Make sure you update Punkbuster.

You can update punkbuster manually by going to www.punkbuster.com and downloading pbweb.exe. Put that file in your pb directory (inside the battlefield 2 folder on your computer) and run it. It should connect to PB and update your game if it needs it.

thanks for the replies, fellas. i went through all that pbweb crap to no avail.... i ended up breaking down and re-installing and re-patching. i did not update punkbuster and i was playing on a ranked server for hours last night

i love the gameplay of BF2, but it IS kinda buggy...insert sad-looking face here lol

Wait for v1.03 coming out. EA has promised 140+ fixes/optimizations.

The only problem i get with PB is that it kicks me saying 'error loading pbag' im always updating PB to no avail
