I know this is all basic stuff, but when you want to catch an enemy tank or car when its crossing the bridge, put the c4 on the sides of the bridge, or on the bottom of it (not the bottom of the river but the bottom of the bridge), and when the enemy tank comes to the spot which is for example the middle of the bridge in karkand, blow it up. This works much better because they will not be able to see it.

or u can just park a jihad jeep on the bridge and when they shoot in the bridge goes down giving whoever shot the jeep a sh!tload of TK's :)

Yes, I was doing it since the day I got this game, as i meantioned, this is some pretty basic stuff, but I still see some people putting C4s on top, making it clearly visible to enemies.

You don't even need a boat on some maps. You can just go into the shallow water and throw it onto the bridge. I normally stick the C4 onto the beams either end of the bridge because it's easier to get to and does the same job as placing it in the middle of the bridge.

I just got out of a game. I was in a tank, and shot a dude just before he clicked the remote after laying C4. I got lucky it was awesome. After I started driving off, about how long it took for him to respawn, I blew up! It was the C4. Someone in the game said it blows up even after death. Has anyone done this? I've tried it and never seemed to have it work, but maybe I should try it now. Maybe it's just a bug? Certain Maps? Can anyone do this legitamently?

if some one picks up the kit of the person you shot or the same person picks up his old kit then they can blow you up.

Sometimes having the C4 visible can be a plus, as it acts as a deterrant without blowing the bridge, allowing friendlies to cross

Many options here. I love spec ops and being sneaky with the c4. With the c4 as well you can help a tank(apc) vs tank(apc). Us the vehcile as a decoy taking the tanks(apc) attention. then sneak up as normal with no risk of dying. Of course you will want to shoot the gunner or get your buddy to shoot the gunner. Basically what i am getting at is that you are far more effective with c4 when you work together. :)

Here's a tip I just thought of. Place C4 on walls around your control points that the enemy are attacking frequently. Watch from a distance and wait for the enemy to capture your rigged flag. As they stand next to the flag, claim your kill and defend points.

Why bother with the walls - I am sure it is considered cheating - but you can put c4 inside the flag stand....the little base at the bottom of the flag - when you throw it down and at it - it goes inside. Some kind of clipping problem I am sure of, but for those retards that go up and lay down next to the pole - they deserve to get taken out with a stupid tactic.

You do that and you can really only get one or two guys. Spread it out and the number you can get is much higher.

Well, i remember the thng witth the Dynamite in BF1942. After we secured a spawn point, i would as an engineer, pick up the dynamite i booby trapped there, but after like 5 minutes of lying there, the dynamite blows up, it was kinda annoying. I dunno if this is the case for C4 too, but i dunno, either another guy picked it up and pressed the button or, the same guy retrieved his kit and did it.
