ahh i read about some problems with that...otherwise.. its pretty good

i would suggest you get a 3200+ venice and overclock that,,, you dont need the 11x multiplyer that the 3500 comes with... i have mine running at 2.4 witch is a 3.6+ in pentiums world......

i also suggest some good ram... what you have seems fine but you could also chip ina little and get higher speeds when overclocking.....

is this your first build?... if so i heard that mobo can be a little tough on newbies ,,,, but its great for experienced overclockers

Ya but remember he can overclock that 3500+ also. Besides a 3500+ isnt much expensiver then 3200+.

As for the mobo, it looks good.

The mobo is good. As for the processor, look for which one has the higher L2 Cache, and get that one, otherwise get a Venice 3200+ and OC it.

i have that mobo and it is rock solid, also, with a simple mod, you can convert it to the sli model if you ever want to.
