My understanding of it the latest generation of AA Missiles is that they are hyper sonic (the likes of Sunstreak) and are very lethal against aircraft and helicopters especially at low level. Apparently the balance is shifting back to ground units with AA having the upper hand against aircraft.

Back on topic ramming aircraft is a really crap tactic and one of my all time hatreds. I don't care that its was used in real life it ruins the game as it negates any skill or tactics. Teamwork will sort out nearly all the problems that the game experiences so saying that just because some guy is BH whoring you are not justified in ramming them. Learn to deal with it for leave the server.

Well any time you can get 6 kills and not get killed is great. Though on maps where the BH dominates and has no jets or attack choppers then Spec Ops can use a tactic like the bomb buggy to tank. Get your helo over the BH eject, parchute, blow it up. Hopefully but not likely you survive and hopefully but not likely you get 6 or any kills. But that would demonstrat a high degree of skill to pull off (That I do not have). I've bumped BH's into buildings, trees I recived credit for the kills :). Hell a well placed and timed tank shell can make the kill.

Back to topic, suicide tactics have always been used in warfare and is used by the weaker, less skilled, or losing side of a confilict. So why not use them in this game when the BH is dominating the field. You can get a nice load of points for doing it and may help win the match as well.

Of course trying to take a BH head on is sucidical but setting a trap for them is dead easy, to the point now where sometimes jumping in a BH on some servers is certain death as everyone is gunning for you with AT missiles.

So with that in mind the ramming tactic is stupid, lazy and completey unjustified. Which means anyone doing it is no better than the noobs everyone seems to refer to here.

Uh huh, and how often are 4 people using the AT kit on an ifantry map while working together and coordinating an attack? Trying to defend the blackhawk saying its not unbalanced is like saying blue is actually orange.

Since when do you need four guys to do it? One AT Missile wipes out half the crew of a BH and then machine gun fire will finish it off. Its not hard to do. This whole BH whoring line is old and tiresome. Its not so unblanced that its undefeatable its just more of a challenge. I'm not calling blue orange, I'm saying that orange can be negated by black.

All this talk about easily killing a BH makes me chuckle. You are obviously playing against a BH pilot that SUCKS if you are taking them down that easily. A good pilot and crew is unkillable on Mashtuur.

ok, so i guess we should be able to take down a blackhawk with a few shots from a rifle? yea that will fix those stupid "blackhawk whores"

jesus, just because ppl know how to use a valid and effective tactic to take flags doesnt mean that theyre cheap. you should be blaming yourself cuz youre the one who doesnt have the mental capacity to come up with something to take care of those "blackhawk whores"

im pretty sure the game was DESIGNED this way. so that ppl use teamwork to QUICKLY capture flags. and what do you know, it works!!!!!!!!! but of course theres the idiots who must bitch about every single thing in a game

Lame tactic. All rammers should be ejected from the server ASAP and severely beaten.

These are the same types that also ram their best buddies nightly.

Well to the point, not all servers that I played have well organized teams. Doing it in a helo aginst another skilled helo pilot does take skill.

Yes people who use a jet to ram a BH out of the air is just as you say. But it is a completely valid tactic for the "weaker, less skilled, or losing side".
