I had an interesting experience last night on a server. I joined the server spawned, and saw two enemy infantry at the flag, I started shooting, and what I didnt notice was a friendly was also in the mix. I took out one, maybe 2 of the enemies, but unfortunately kept shooting at the friendly. Maybe adrenalin, spawning in the open, dunno why I didnt see the blue tag. Anyway, I said sorry twice, then a long msg saying I didnt know why I did that, and sorry.
Guy came back, TK'd me with assault rifile, so I forgave. eye for an eye, and all that. Thing is, I re-spawned again, he killed me again. I forgave again. ok, maybe he did need a chance to vent his anger. I didn't fight back. Third time, Bang! Me dead again. I pause. I think. My finger hovers over PageUp. I think, enough is enough. I hit PageDown. I hope it's over. Anyway, I respawn elsewhere, but sure enough, I'm dead again win minutes. Same guy. I punish.
I dont retaliate, 'cause I hate TK. I play the game, going after enemies etc. Suddenly, another TK. Another guy. I respawn at the same place, bang, the other guy TK's me again. Then the first guy, etc. This goes on until the first guy gets kicked and banned, and the second guy is still out for me. Then a third guy (I suspect the first guy came back in under a different nick) started at me.
All in all, I got TK'd about 12 times, all on purpose. I TK'd ONLY the first time, and apologised profusely. At no stage did I try to get TK'd, I stood well out of line of fire, and didnt run under any tanks.
I didnt think that people (in a game) would hold such a grudge that they'd get they're mates in on it as well....
And if the guys read this, I'm still sorry for that first TK. It honestly was accidental.
