FPS question

Is 37 fps normal for a 6600 GT 128MB AGP 4x/8x, 1.5gb RAM, Intel Pentium 4 2.8ghz? If there is something wrong let me know how i cant up my fps. I run it on high settings and medium both with 37 fps, occassional drops to like 25.

Thats a normal framerate if you use high settings. The game runs very smooth here on medium settings, 2*aa 1024*768. This gives me a framrate of 70-80

If i use high settings it gives me about 30-50 fps, with an occassional drop online to 25. If you want high settings, buy a high end card. The 6600 gt wont give you that.

It also depends on what map you're playing on. Maps like karkand are going to always give you lower FPS because of the geometry involved. But maps like most of the chinese maps, give you more FPS because they're more spread out and easier for your video card to render.

yeah thats what i get too like 30-70 FPS , but i got a x700 pro but its basicly like the 6600 gt so. i put my settings on high and a couple medium with x2 aa and 1024*768.

Ya seems about right.

And ultra high does nothing. Same as high.

That's a low end system so you shouldn't expect good framerates with anything other than low settings.
