SoundBlaster Live 5.1 problem

I have a SoundBlaster Live 5.1 with the Hardware setting enabled and EAX and on HIGH,,5.1 speakers.. When i play i get the radio commands cutting in and out repeatedly, and my centerchannel isnt as loud as my front right and left....

If i change it to software, that helps my radio command problem, but doesnt sound nearly as good

anyideas?

Nice name.

I had the same problem. It still happens occassionally, but after I downloaded the newest drivers for my card it went away for the most part. That should hold you over until you decide to get a better card.

Try lowering the hardware acceleration a notch or two and see if that helps. Basically start tweaking things. If I can get my 4+ year old card to work with it you can, just don't give up.
