The m94 i think, the unlock, i just got it.. its 2 hit kills just like usa's sniper.. just looks cooler :/ i think i just wasted my time getting this.

M95 does more damage than the M24 just isnt a one hit kill, I personally prefer the M95, some dont though -

The M24 is the default USMC weapon.The Barrett M95 is the unlock weapon and it's a better gun than the default MEC or Chinese Sniper rifle, although it's probably not any better that the M24 against infantry. It can shoot through reinforced glass (helicopter cockpits, Vodniks etc) which seems to be it's only real benefit, and the fact it looks really cool.Originally posted by Wisp[w]
If you're a MEC or Chinese sniper I'd use it, but most seem to stick with the M24 when playing as USMC, which is a good all around weapon anyway.
BTW you should be getting one hit kills with any of the sniper weapons. Aim for the neck/ head area if you can, rather than the chest which is often protected by body armour.Comment

I will only use the M95 if I'm playing USA or Chinese (I don't care for the SVD all that much). I think the M24 is the best sniper rifle in the game. When playing sniper you should be at 100m or less and only go for headshots.Comment

M95 is a definite benefit when your MEC or China because the non-bolt action ones just plain suck unless someone is seriously injured. M95 has its ups over the M24 - More damage(no matter where you hit besides head/neck, they will be left with 2 bars of health), it completely ignores body armor unlike any weapon in BF2, and of course it shoots through vehicle glass. Overall it's worth it if you enjoy playing SniperComment

IMO the m95 is the best sniper, even tho it's aim isnt as good as the m24.I myself luv the m95 cuz it could penetrate any vehicles glass. Its funny killing chopper's pilot and getting ppl in humv's and stuff.The only thing that the m24 has over the m95 is accuracy, if u aim wit the m24 at anything....it WILL NOT MISS. m95 + 1-2 pistol shots = deadComment

who ever told you that the M95 does more damage? IT DOES NOT! Both the M24 and the M95 do 95% damage to unarmored classes when aiming for the body. The M95 does "more" damage (95) to armored classes than the M24(65). Unfortnately you will barely benefit from that damage since you will need two shots from both, the M24 and the M95. In addition the M95 is less accurate and does make more noise (imho imortant as I realized that people do get my location quicker whenever im using the M95)
I prefer the M24 over the M95 anytime. Im shooting heads that are barely bigger than my crosshair with ~50% headshots with my M24. When using the M95 at the same distance I barely hit the enemy at all.
Edit: those "take the pistol for the last 5% posts" ... when you are able to hit them with your pistol YOU ARE TOO CLOSEComment
