    Which card? Can't decide

I don't currently own BF2, but hoping to in the next week or so once i've got myself a new graphics card. Now i've narrowed my choices down to the following, which of these will offer the best perfomance and stability?

    XFX GeForce 6600 GT 256MB DDR3

Leadtek WinFast GeForce 6800 128MB DDR

    Thanks for any response

    My specs are as follows:

    Amd Xp2100 @ 1.7Ghz
    Gigabyte GA-7DXR
    786Mb PC2100 DDR RAM
    Leadtek Geforce4 Ti4200
    Sound Blaster Audigy 2

        Re: Which card? Can't decide

I'd go with the 6800... 6600 GT has only 8 pixel pipe's and 128 memory interface.

6800 has 12 pixel pipe's and 256 bit memory interface.

The 6800 is faster, the 6600 GT has more memory. You decide.

The 6600GT also has faster memory, as it's DDR3. The 6800 doesn't have that.

6800 128MB EASY. If its not the PCI-E version you can unlock pipelines and overclock as long as you ahve good cooling.

Actually...the new 6800 AGP cards (like the one I have) can't open up the pipelines without corruption

6600GT, get it and OC it a bit. Best bang for your buck.
