I just got my new monitor thats 1280x1024 resolution and I go to change my settings in BF2 and theres no 1280x1024 rez to pick?? whats up with that?

Sorry to say this but it's been answered a million times, have you tried making a search for 1280 or similar??
add +szx 1280 +szy 1024 to the shortcut target textbox so it looks like: ...\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 1024
the reason it is missing from game options is because the true 4:3 1280 res is 1280x960, however a lot of LCDs use the other. -
