What's with the peace symbol??

I was playing on a USMC team fighting Strike at Karkand last night and was running behind what I * think * was someone using the "Support" kit, and the dude had a big-ass peace symbol on his back pack. What's up with that??? Anyone else see this? That's a moving target no matter what side you are on... :) Maybe it was a medic. Not sure.

That is like saying anything referencing D-Day is a The Longest Day homage. :p

Many soldiers wore peace symbols on their uniforms during the Vietnam Conflict as a sign of protest. The movie Full Metal Jacket simply represented this facet of the conflict, as do many Vietnam Conflict movies.

I could see it being from Full Metal Jacket as well cuz in the opening intro movie the american guy is shooting at the attacking MEC army and he's saying GET SOME GET SOME which is also from that movie.

Someone started a thread about the peace symbol a couple of months ago and it turned into a Full Metal Jacket quote fest. It is pretty funny to see it happening again.
