i bought all the spare parts for my new computer and set everything up, but it wont turn on.......HELP!! :cry: :cry: :cry:

What are the components? Is anything happening? Unplug everything from the mobo and see if it powers up......then slowly start plugging things into the mobo and see what it does.

nothing would start, and yes i have pluged it in....i dont know if i missed a few circuit or so when connecting everything up, but its dead silent...

take a look at your RAM..
If they are not propperly connected, it wont start..

Could be a bad PS. That's why I suggested disconnecting evrything form the mobo and see if it powers up.

my powersupply is 400ATX....and about the ram not connected properly - ru sure???

Do the fans start up ? If not you got a dead power supply or mobo.

the computer wont start if the RAM not is conented...

... and some boards won't power up if the CPU fan header is empty. Is the PSU starting? The fans inside should tell you.

okay okay, i got it working.........guess what, the turn on the computer wire is not properly connected to the mobo, therefore not starting it, k, i think i got it to work now....thanks for all the great inputs...
