I think something similar would be fine, but with the same criteria. So an 800m headshot on a running target would yield more points. But no bonus unless it is a more difficult shot.

Lol, an 800m headshot on a moving target will yeild you a drink from me, damn. I would love to see a shot like that.

Just let the target walk into your crosshair at long range, because following a target with your crosshair tends to decrease your accuracy as you move it. And I've killed so many chopper pilots with the m95 thats its made it easily worth it.

In my opinion the only thing that needs changing is the thickness of the rets. The chinese sniper ret is perfect

The .50 cal is very accurate, it's not only the size of the caliber but the shear velocity of the .50 cal round that kills. This is why it is able to penatrate some types of armor in the game. I agree on some points that M24 is good but I put my trust in the Big Dog when pulling the trigger and it has never failed me especially with the technique I described above.

Yah, it looks like someone went over the crosshair with a sharpie. And I'm liking all this negative feedback about the m95, you know why. The more people complain, the better that chance that it might be upgraded. As of right now i couldnt care less, i can still hit people extreme range with my m95 so i couldnt be happier.

also, points for kills should be raised across the board. it just takes way too long to get anywhere after lance corp.
off topic but yeah I agree the whole point/rank system is a joke. Even D&D isn't that bad, heh.

Either that or make a kill against a higher ranking person than you worth more!

Can you even SEE 800m in this game? Going by the flag distance markers, targets at 300m are pretty damn tiny through the M24 scope. I was playing Kubra Dam the other day and trying shots at that range.. The only thing I could hit was stationary targets. I don't even attempt SVD or Type-88 shots at that range... The longest I like is across the river on Karkand.. much longer and I can't get headshots so I rarely end up with kills. Person notices a quick drop in their health and off they run.

I've started getting so that I won't take shots unless I'm pretty sure I'll get a headshot, unless I've been seen and I want to try to scare the enemy away so I can hide again.

The M95.. meh.. I like the M24 better, and I find I'm more effective with the SVD or Type-88..

One shot to the body with M95 takes enemy down to only 2 health bars left regardless of a body armor. Finish them with your pistol or take a second shot. Using pistol is better, because it's silent.
