The gold medal goes to the highest rank!!

Was playing mashtuur city, and after the round I had the exact same score as some other guy

41 points total
12 kills each
17 teampoints each
and 2 kills each

we where both members on the sme squad so actualy we got the perfect draw.

I got the gold medal and he the silver medal
The only difference awas that I was a seargeant and he a lance corporal.

thats not always the case, ive had games where ive had the same score as 3 or more people, and i would get the gold because i had more kills/less deaths than all of them. in the result of a tie they bring in your kills/deaths for the round

I do believe the medal goes to the player with the highest combat score in case of a tie.

i have seen this many times with myself, and it seems completely random. I mean i dont wanna brag but i got over 200 gold stars and seen this atleast 30 times, it is random from what i can tell. Ive seen the guy with less kills get it, more kills, less deaths but same kills and vice versa.

One could also hypothesize that the player who was on the map the longest acquires the gold medal - although one could envisage the player who was logged-on for the shortest amount of time getting the gold, since they managed to obtain the same score in less time.

However, I believe I have solved the conundrum and shall elucidate. They have 'The Soup Nazi' sitting at EA HQ looking at all ties as they come in real-time. He ponders over the users' handles and determines which one he prefers. To the one he does not like, they get a curt, "No gold for you!"
