It's quiet unfair how people whine and complain at companies like EA when something happens that they don't like, and then they barely show any gratitude when it is changed. Look at it from EAs point of view, they just get insults, complaints ans abuse from the community. Now imagine how different it would be if the community was respectful and made thier grievences known in a polite manner.

No actually it was in the newspapers.

EA games has recently recieved over 100 lawsuits againsed them by their own employee's. The reason is due to the harsh working conditions, which include work 7 days a week from 9AM to 10PM. If you decide to take the sunday offer to get off work at 6 PM you get no vacation, no overtime payments, etc.

Crunch times, e.g. the time before BF2 was released employee's in some cases worked 36-48 hours straight.

It was labelled by the software production industry that this level of treatment is unsustainable and will lead the entire industry into a state of depression. The fact is its neither EA nor Dice's laziness, however, instead a problem with their treatment of employeee's.

EA at this moment has several internal issues to resolve, and we shouldn't expect much any time soon, due to the simple fact that the workers are overworked.

all companies just want your money. EA seems to be taking it quite far though... i mean they've announced the expansion to a product that hasnt been properly patched yet, only about a month after its release. You cant really make it any more obvious than that.

Thats why you really gotta commend places like EPIC (or whoever distributes/produced UT2k4) cause they had released the EC edition free of charge to those who had already purchaced the game.

Calm down...they only mention the expansion to give us something to look forward too later this year...it's not like Dice is releasing it now...every company does this, it's called marketing. you'll figure it out once you get into High school. So just throw in your maxie pad and relax, the patch is coming soon.... in the next few weeks. The game is playable now...no worries.

Don't act like this is the first PC game you ever played{ooops if it is}...ever PC game is released with bugs...this is why we have PC's and Console's...to separate the men from the boys. So many people have different PCs and thats why it's hard to make a bug free game. Hint: BF2 is about two months old, therefore the game has bugs and will be fix...it just takes time.

Okay enough of French nonsense. I'm very dissatisfied with the bugs in the game, with the red names on teammates being the most glaring of them all. For the gameplay mechanics, I'm unhappy about how AA is working. The missiles could just magically swerve away from stationary choppers. It's ridiculous.

But I'm still happy with the game. I got myself $1k worth of stuff in a tourney because of it.
