Where are the night time maps???

i wish BF2 had at least 1 night time map. Some of the most intense FPS games in the past (Operation Flashpoint, Ghost Recon, AA) had night time maps where you could use night vision. Very cool and scary as hell creepin around in the dark.

Maybe someone will make one? Is there an option in the map editor? If not then perhaps someone will make a mini-mod to give us a night mode. Would be cool...

Well I was just wondering if the editor allowed you to make nighttime maps at all, since I haven't used it yet.

Well i used it some, you can set the sky to whatever you want, and you can edit the lighting, so someone was skilled (not me) i couldnt see why they couldnt

but without the ability to have night vision, they will turn out like Basrah Nights. If you didn't turn your brightness up, you were screwed.

Well perhaps a dusk or dawn map would be better suited. And maybe someone has a nightvision mini-mod in the works too? :)

Its the same engine in the expansion, so what they have in teh expansion can be had in the normal game, thats what I read on an interview, don't know which one.

Last time I checked, isn't Operation Clean Sweep a night map -- or at least a pre-dawn or dusk map? It certainly seems a lot darker than all of the other maps.

Ever since BF42 came out, people have been screaming for night maps. When the developers or modders actually do them, no one seems to like them.
