Suggestions for Knife Combat Badge

Anyone have any good techniques for getting knife kills. Im trying to get 7 in one round and I keep falling short. When I try I get about 2-4 each round. Its really hard running after people and stabbing them when your standing. For some reason I seem to lag or something and I can never connect when Im standing. Plus the only kills I can get are off of snipers. Anyone got and tips? Thanks a lot.

Play on one of the karkand knive/pistol only servers.

Play on Strike at Karkand (64 or 32 players). Be a medic USMC and rush the spawn alleys at the first flag. Run up to people and knife 'em. If you see a dead MEC body, wait for a medic to arrive and revive. Then rush, go prone and stab 'em both. Do this a couple times. *drum roll *

well there are several ways u cant get basic or veteran easily because all u need is 7 knife kills. If ur trying to get 7 kills in one round, the best 2 possible ways are to sneak up on them, like chase em with out them noticing u, might take a while, but u need the kills. Or 2 just full on sprint at the guy. I got my veteran badge by doing full on sprints. I got basic by being sneaky. What ever technique u use, I highly suggest these two. Because yes it is hard, but also u do not want the round to end before u can get 7.

We currently have 3 knifing/shock paddle video's on our site www.r2clan.com in the download section or just click on them in the right hand column. A member of ours <<R2>Un4givin inspired our whole clan to take up the knife/shock paddle, now we specialise in it. Its all shot so far in first person using fraps but mine yet to be released is done all from battle recorder footage. He also dubbed the term Kowned (meaning knife owned) His 1st vid Ownage with a knife inspired our whole clan to go on knifing rampages. It will inspire anyone who wants to knife and shows how easy it can be to knife people. Make sure when you knife someone you say Kowned LOL!

The best way is to try and follow someone, you be suprised how many guys never look over there shoulder as to whats behind them. Sometimes you can chase them for days. Like I spotted a guy yesterday, chased him over half the map on Sharqi, he ended up meeting up with his squad then when he did he lay down in a line with 3 guys. I just crouched and stabbed them all 1 after the other.

If you are after your badges just try and use the knife the whole map, its the easiest way to get the 7 kills needed. Try maps like Sharqi, Karkand and Mastuur but I got 13 on Fushe Pass 1 day so don't count out maps you think you won't get knife kills on. Also on Kubra dam the base closest to the USMC uncappable, cap it then go part way down the ladder or all the way down, wait till it goes neutral then climb the ladder and knife the guy lieing down. I got 10 knife kills 2 maps in a row on Kubra.

Also you will be suprised that when you would normally use your gun, you could have actually knifed them. Once you get out of that habit you will find its easy to get enough knife kills.

Snipers are easy targets and never usually watch their backs but watch out for those claymores. Many times I actually sacrificed myself on a claymore, so I could go back and knife the sniper. Ask the commander to spot out snipers for you. Listen for a nearby sniper then check the rooftops, they are easy to come across and the easiest to knife. Also people in AA guns, TOW's, mounted machine guns are also easy targets. Wait near a base you have then when the flag goes neutral sneak up and you will easily get a knife or 2 cause most people lie down.

But check out those vids, they are well worth the watch and they will physc you up to go on a Kowning knife mission, guaranteed!

As retarded as this may sound just ambush ppl. Like the openings in fences and doors to biuldings. Get out you gun as shoot at them and make sure they see you, then just Hide right next to the opening and the guy will charge in and never see you...u get the rest

I haven't got mine, but this guy did knife me by bunny hopping with his knife out, he just hopped on top and I died.

I had a connection failure while he was doing this but the idea seemed plausible.

But to bunny hop and knife at the same time be prepared for some abuse from other players, how not to make friends and influence people.
