Hi
i have two machines linked together and wanna play with two humans on a multiplayer game but with computer players aswell is this possible and if yes how is it possible?
Only got it yesterday so will either figue it out or hopefully one of you guys can help me out please.

engtkemp, what you are describing is called co-op mode I believe, a full server lan game with as many human players as you've got, and the rest of the soldiers are computer bots.

I also believe they took this out of BF2, while it was originally in BF1942.

Can anyone confirm this? Sorry man.

Yes, however I think there's a way to do this with the Coop mod v3.0
Hathcock a fellow poe dev plays this with his son versus bots.

No for now, i dont believe their is a coop.

Yes, however I think there's a way to do this with the Coop mod v3.0
Hathcock a fellow poe dev plays this with his son versus bots.

You developed POE. Greatest mod ever (or one of the best). Hell it has its up sides to BF2.

Anyway if you have the time i have a question about POE that i thought you might be able to answer. PLEASE PM ME.

You can do it on the regular game. Start a Singleplayer game on one machine, join by IP to the first machine with the other machine.

You need bots. Go read in the modding forum for answers.

Waddaya know...the single player and having the other PC join by IP thing works! No mod required.

Shame that you only get the 16 player maps though.

this works for sure
did it for 2 weeks b4 I ever went on line
also, there are some mods that allow more than
16 per side
and even whole web sites dedicated to single player modes

however, I used to laugh at folks who laughed at me, when I said I liked paying cop-op against the computer - they said it was too easy - well this is my 1st FPS - so it was NOT too easy for me -
then I played online - got stomped , got better, then went back to single player to try/test some new skills, and I COMPLETELY ripped the AI
now back full time into online

whatever - have fun !!|
