  • Studdering in game.........

    First of all i am new here!!!! Whoo hooo!!! Second of all i am using the ATI Catalyst 5.8 drivers (CCC). I am to date to BF2 1.02. Now what is with this studdering in game. Kinda like "lag". IS there a memory leak or something?

    if you mean low fps like 20~15 fps problem its unknown, must be a game bug or so

    if you mean stuttering by turning or moving from different locations and hdd is in heavy use, then upgrade your ram to 1.5 gig or more,thats what BF2 needs to run in high quality

        Try turning down your graphics settings.

        Otherwise, if you're like me and want to have them all maxxed ( ), then I agree with the above poster ... GET MORE RAM.

        OR...

        Wait until the 1.03 patch and see if this is addressed.

        Personally..I went for 2 GB of RAM

          If you have an AGP video card, make sure to turn up the AGP Aperture setting in your BIOS to 256MB or 512MB. Helps most people with this.

            Mine AGP Aperture is at 64 i havea X850XT AGO 256mb card

              set your AGP aperature up to 256.. you aren't using all of your cards memory with your aperature only set to 64.
