Need help

i made a map and now the map keeps crashing at 15%
what do i have to do now?
i generated everything
i packed it.
Did i miss anything? please help me i want to release this map ASAP.

Just deleting the overgrowth folder for my map worked for me.

that's not a solution. in the future when you do need to include your overgrowth you will have much bigger problems because of the missing folder.

did you try to run the game in minimized mode and get an error message?

yes, but the thing is, i dont get any errors, it just crashes to the desktop when it reaches 15% of the loading.


is this why it crashes? because of the red errors?

DestroyableObject wooden_bridge_segment needs to have networkable component

how do i get it a networkable component?

I once made a map, textured it with grass01 i think, put CPs for each team and spawns and nothing else, no objects or change in terrain, and it crashed at 15%
no idea why.

nope, i tried it, and that grass works.

Damn you who ever made this shit mod tool!
we do everything the tutorials say and than the fcking map does not work!

Also i am always out of bound and i get killed. how do i fix this?

Create a combat zone. It'll be a Green C in the level editor. Keep right clicking adding control points and circle your map the way you want make sure you connect the ends.

Ok i made a mistake, how do i delete where i made a control point??

**** the fcking bf2 editor! it has so many freaking problems! my map kept crashing cause i had the mini guns, the damn tows dont get saved! my map is useless without them!!
and now this freaking shit is ****ed up! i cant change it back!

I fixed the undo.
Now when i save the map it does not save the combat area!


wtf is with this stuff?

problems never go away!!!!!


i made my combat area and i save it i go ingame and i start dying!
i open the editor and the combat area is still there but ingame its not.
