i lost my hud

every once in a while, mostly while flying airplanes, the hud will disappear until i disconnect from a server, but that leaves the menu and all that partially blank and crap. it really comes to piss me off, like recently i had 30 some odd kills in a plane, through bombs and missiles, then my hud blanks out.
i'm downloading the 5.8 drivers, hoping this fixes the problem. any other solutions in case it doesnt work?

Try simply putting this command in your console.

renderer.drawhud 1

1 - On
0 - Off
