Vehicle Problem

im making a map where it is the US vs Mec at first the mec flag was the chinese flag but i fixed that..but now the vehicles are chinese and i dont know how to change it....i searched but found nothing.....

Make sure you are using the Mec_US object spawner.

i am...and for some reason the vehicles when i spawn them there like not on top of the ground and the flag is at the bottom under the level but thats only in the editor...its just really annoying.... if i spawn the mec and us vehicle on the mec side but the us one shows up...will it turn to the mec one in the game ... im confused

How do you change the flag to MEC? I can get US and China but can't seem to change to a MEC flag.

Least you can get a flag when ever I try to put one in it just gives me bad name even if i leave it default :P

thats because the default is wrong, you cant have brackets or spaces.
just use this one..

As far as i'm aware you have to paint everything for now. I think it said that in the EA tutorial.

How do you change the flag to MEC:

go to level editor. click level settings (right tweak bar). the second or third option is the flag name. for the mec it is set to "flag_ch" even though the team is set to MEC which is wrong (that is a bug btw). change it to "flag_mec" you are done.

You cant do that because of the randomness that editor creates when painting the terrain depending on the surface.

you don't even need that format. That is for your convenience. Also in game that will be displayed when someone captures the flag. I m sure you dont want it saying

maranello captured 32_usmc_base base. If you want the base name to be more than 1 word, you have to include "_" like "new_york_knicks" but in game if you dont want those "_" to show up, thats a different story, let me know if you want to know about it, i ll explain. But i suggest you you use 1 word meaningfull names.
