Text is distorted

For some reason all the menus in-game and on-screen messages while playing are severly distorted. It is impossible to decipher what they say. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

be sure you to uncheck "alternate pixel center" in graphic options

Try using a different resolution. My system for instance has blurry text, until I get above 1152x870@85.

Thanks a bunch for the suggestions. I tried to find the "aleternate pixel center" but I wasn't sure where the graphics options are. It makes it hard to navigate the menus since it is so hard to read. If someone could point out where the graphic options are that would be awesome.
