So, last night I was on a great server - they had 5 rules.
1) [forgettable]
2) [forgettable]
3) [forgettable]
4) [forgettable]
5) No bunnyhopping
I rejoiced. Super. Let's get it on.
After 15 minutes on the server I was kicked and banned for bunnyhopping. "WTF", I said, "I didn't bunnyhop at all".
What I did do was jump and go prone in order to avoid fire and get into a firing position. This is a relatively realistic maneuver since REAL soldiers dive for cover all the time. Mind you, I didn't do the jump and perma-prone dolphin man move - I'm not even sure HOW to do that.
Apparently though, it was "bunny hopping". I always thought bunny hopping was taking advantage of the shortsighted stamina meter to jump over and over and over to avoid fire.
My other suspicion is that I did the jump and cover move on an admin, smoked his power-hungry a$$, and he got mad and banned me.
But I may be wrong - so what's the definition?
