    Probs with new monitor

    Hi y'all,

    since today I'm proud owner of a Samsung SyncMaster 930BF. Problem is, BF2 is not working anymore. I'm my mind it can't possibly be the monitor, can it? It worked so well before, now I only see the BF2 start logo and then going black, but no EA logo. Instead it returns to my desktop. Is there anything I can do?

    All the other games are working so beautyfully!!

    its probably not the monitor but the settings your game is at. For example if your refresh rate is set to 85hz in the game and your new monitor can only do 70hz then that happens. It happened to me when I switched from my big CRT monitor to an LCD for a LAN party.

      yeah go into the BF2 (Documents and Settings\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache and delete the folders in the cache and restart the game
