Agreed. Furthermore, commanders who fly jets and helicopters need to be court martialed and hung by piano wire. Useless bastards.

Sometime its useful to leave the squad (squad leadership will automatically pass to someone else) and rejoin as a normal squad member, this has three benefits.
1) your squad still has a respawn point after you die
2) you can respawn on the person yourself.
3) you don't have to hide from the enemy in fear of dying

Get a large squad who all grasp the idea and you can be very difficult to stop.

Not sure about stingers, but if the SL is manning a mounted machine-gun the squad members can't spawn on him.

I, for one, think there should be slots available to assist the machine-gunning SL. Someone can spawn in and hold his nuts for him. Another can give him a backrub. A third can braid his hair.

4 crew mounted gun. It's a hit!
