Heavily wounded. Can you swim?

I was shot up pretty bad and bailed out of a chopper. Parachuted into the bay. I could rotate 360 deg. to see everything but could not move forward or back or even sideways. Was this a glitch or are you restricted at certain levels of damage?

hmm im not sure.... its probally a glitch it would be pretty stupid of ea to have it where if your injured you cant swim... just be floating there, but then again it is ea :p

Were you Chinese? The Chinese can't swim. That's why they put the hovercraft at Dragon Valley.

thats a bug it happens to me when i jump off the side of the USS Essex and open my chute, i just get stuck in the water at full health

I was USMC one time and I had to bail out of a heli. . .I don't recall being injured, but I was swimming SOOOO slowly. . . if I didn't sprint, it appeared that I wasn't even moving at all. . . but I was, just VERY slowly. Once I got out of the water I went right back in to see if it was some kind of glitch and got killed just before I entered the water.

After that, I had no problem swimming, so I assume it must be some kind of bug.

there was a hovercraft, but EA took it out, probably because it was too big for any rivers in any of the maps.

The same thing happened to me too. I bailed out of a chopper and landed a few feet from shore, it almost looked like I wasn't even moving, but eventually I got on land.

Ya, chinese are one of the best swimming teams in da world, they constantly get bronze in the olympics, their mens diving team is almost unbeatable.

CTUnit1 - I'm glad you said something. I've been joking about a hovercraft for weeks, but I could have sworn it was listed in some of the original press-release hype for the game. So I'm not crazy after all.

Oh yeah, they took that out, it was gonna be in the game, and then like a week before the game went gold they took it out, they were going to have the M2 Bradley fighting vehicle as well as some others, they were to be limited to maps like the M1 garand was to BF1942. I woulda loved being in the Bradley, i like it better than the LAV-25 (current APC for USMC in the game).
