Ea Servers = No Mods?

I was wondering if official EA servers in your country has turned off the ability to play with mods. I just installed the blood splirt mod and the EA server in my country didn't let me in to their server.

no mods on EA servers, because EA can't cheack all mods and it's perfectly possible to make a mod that exploits the rank system

hesnse modding for bf2 pretty much useless... you will have to buy sanctioned maps and addons from EA .. yey more money for them.

Some people play on unranked servers, of which there are many hosting new mods.
