So head on over to the forums at our site and on the recruitment forum go ahead and start a topic with your name, age, location, and examples of work. Hoping to see you on the battlefield heres a few pics of what we've done

Re: Calling all texture Artists(Desert Conflict)

I can clearly identify it as a photoskin to be honest. :hmm:

The clumsy consistency is quite obvious, even a manually & poorly skinned weapon has consistency with it's base. There's a lot of clone patches not patched up well. Example: On the grip, there's an island on the bottom that reads "HK USP/P8/SOCOM". Bad case of clone stamping.
-Mis-allignment on the side button (on top of the trigger).
Classic photo-skin mess up. No way that could've been alligned wrong if you skinned it straight uv map and metal base.
-The huge scratches on the slide (i don't think the polymer body frame of a USP/Socom scratches like that since it's not metal) could've been another picture of a metal surface overlayed onto the photo of the slide and body. Real easy to do.
-Another obvious mis-allignment would be the outer trigger frame. Should i go on?
-The only "manual" skin i can say is the bottom of the body frame. Yeah, real hard to find a picture of that.
                    - Grip texture, i've seen tons of time (thru looking at many references) altho, this one being low quality.

Conclusion: Some not, A lot...a lot.
There's a lot more i can go on about, but i feel like im wasting my time for some reason...

                    :hi:

I've already reviewed both AV8 and AH-64 before. No point in repeating myself.
and yes, before you enjoy yourself: YES I R A SKINNER, I R KNOW WHAT I R TALKING ABOUT AND I R KNOW HOW "HARD" IT IS TO MAKE A "GAME".

For all who dont know who splinter is, he is the Best CDG skinner out there (IMO) and has been skinning for CS since who knows when, so im going to go by his word and say its a photoskin.

I have a slight temptation to be proven wrong actually. But chances of that are slim.
