again, great set of rules. the mature player who understands team work and good sportsmanship would naturally love a server like that. however, the player base for BF2 contains, maybe, 20% of the above-described people.

Look if you dont play by these rules, you are pretty much a half-assed player imo. That's the bottom line.

Plus, try all those other tactics you think are so great, you wont last 5 minutes in a TG server...you will be both OWNED then KICKED.

Unlike you, I realize that different people want to play this game in different ways. There is no one "right" way of doing this. There is a wide variety of servers out there wide a wide variety of rules and no one is better than the other.

My PERSONAL preference on how I want to play may differ greatly from others, but that doesn't make it more right or wrong than any other way.

I'm not going to impose my methods on those in another community no more than I would want them to try and impose their methods within my community.

those who dont can play mods or modded servers like TG's. I personaly happen to like it the way it is now but I will also hop onto TG for a change of pace with its own set of unique challenges. You have no right to tell me that I am a noob or anything else because I like the game in its present state. I like the ability to choose the level of simmulation that I play in.

He doesn't get it. As much as I appreciate his enjoyment of Tactical Gamer, it is just as annoying to have a zealot telling everyone they are playing half-assed if they don't play our way as it is having others hurling insults because we don't play THEIR way.

I don't know what it is about some people that feel that the only "right" way to do anything is their way.

Alot or people agree that isn't the right way also, or more people would be doing it on the servers in general on their own if it were that way.

Games are made for entertainment, how one enjoys the game may differ from how you enjoy it. Just because their view is different from yours, does not mean it is the wrong way or the right way.

Me, I feel that if you want real organized competition in a game, join a league/ladder. Pubs are for for farting around and horseplay, maybe testing out a few tactics you plan on using in a match while youre there. But, that is just my personal opinion, and not the 'right' or 'wrong' way.

I'm not sure if 21st Century Warfare is on BF2 yet, but you guys mite love the shit out of that, very organized match play, yet very pub at the same time. Hard to explain, but a nice simple idea.
