Ok, when ever my friend trys to connect to the account server at the start of BF2 it says "unique NIC is incorrect". Then when he trys to connect with a different account it says "unique NIC already taken". Anyone know whats going on??? Thanks

'uniquenick' I believe is the wording
Lots of people are having loads of problems with the login and both GameSpy and EA have acknowledged it.
The only thing I have learned from my trouble with creating accounts is that it seems as if, when creating an account, the non letter/number characters are not taken into consideration when deciding if a nick is unique.
e.g. "-=MyNick=-" would give the 'uniquenick already taken' error if "MyNick" has already been used. No variation of MyNick would be accepted if you are simply adding non-letter/numerical characters to it. You would have to really mess up the letter/number variation for it be unique, something like MyblahNick001...you get the picture.
Also, you cannot use the same e-mail address for creating more than one BF2 account. If you have already used your e-mail address and need to create another account, just make one up or sign up for a free e-mail address on gmail or hotmail or something (or use Mailinator) if you want your account 'validated'...but I don't see any reason to. -

well i believe what they mean is that that username/nickname is already taken
